Yacht Primadonna, Turkish Gulet

For a long time, i was dealing with web marketing on the topic tourism. i have completed many virtual tours of touristic destinations and museums in Turkey. And also, i did virtual tours for hotels (around 40 hotels). These works were basically centered in the most important touristic palces of Turkey, like Antalya, Cappadocia and Bodrum. And now, as an amateur sailor (and i will be a professional yacht captain soon), i have an interest to make some works on the era, blue voyage and yachts. i plan to start with beautiful Turkish bays and classical Turkish yachts, namely gulets.

Today, i have completed a virtual tour of a beautiful classical gulet, Yacht Primadonna.

Primadonna is a 21.5 meter Turkish Gulet, which was built in Bodrum in 1998. and in 2009, she was refitted completely. And now she is ready for her special guests. She has only 3 cabins with double bed. i do not want to tell more about this special lady. Please help yourself:

Amatörler için en uygunu “Amatör Denizci Belgesi” sahibi olmak diyebilirim. Bu belge temini nispeten kolay bir belge. Bir kursa gitmeden de, “Amatör Deniz Kitabı” ndan çalışıp, sonrasındabir sınava girerek bu belgeye sahip olabilirsiniz. Amatör denizci belgesi ile de, 12 metreye kadar, “amatör / kişisel / özel” bir başka değişle “ticari olmayan” teknelerde denize çıkmaya hak kazanıyorsunuz. Bir de, yine benzer şekilde “KMT - Kısa mesafe Telsiz” sınavına girip, ondan da başarılı olduğunuz takdirde, bu sefe 24 metreye kadar, yine ticari olmayan şahsa ait teknelerde (ya da kiralayabileceğiniz bare-boat’larda) tekne keyfini yaşayabilirsiniz.

Yazdıklarımın buraya kadarı, aslındabir ön bilgi. Ve uzun zamandır yürürlükte olan bir işleyiş. Ancak asıl bahsetmek istediğim konu “ticari yatlarda kaptanlık yapabilmeye yönelik olan” YAT KAPTANLIĞI EĞİTİMİ.

Bu konuyla ilgili de bir ön bilgi vermem gerekirse, 2 sene öncesine kadar, YAT KAPTANI olabilmek için ya

1. Amatör denizcilik belgesi ile 2500 deniz mili kaptanlık yapıldığının belgelenmesi gerekiyordu (ya da 4000 mil seyir yapıldığının)

2. Ya da, Gemici olarak “gemici cüzdanı” çıkarıp, bu şekilde belli bir süre ve mil yaptıktan sonra, “usta gemici” olup, sonra yine belli bir süre ve yol yaptıktan sonra “kaptanlık” sınavlarına girmeye hak kazanıyordunuz.

Şimdi ise (son 2 senedir) yeni bir uygulama mevcut, ancak pek bilinmiyor. O da şöyle, 4 ay, 400 saatlik bir sıkı bir eğitim programı sonrasında,  Denizcilik Müsteşarlığı’nın açtığı 7 adet sınava girmeye hak kazanıyorsunuz. Bu sınavlarda da başarılı olduğunuz takirde “Türk bayraklı ve yat olarak tescik ettirilmiş her teknede” kaptanlık yapmaya hak kazanıyorsunuz.
